Subscriptions

In IFS Cloud, you have the ability to subscribe to any changes or modifications made to a record field and receive notifications. This feature grants you the flexibility to manage your notification preferences, allowing you to tailor how you receive updates according to your preferences. Your chosen settings for updates will remain active until your subscription expires.

How to Subscribe to a Field
Subscribing to a Field

To subscribe to a record field:

  • Click the bell icon on the Page Toolbar to open the Subscription drop down menu.
  • Select Subscribe option from the Subscription drop down menu to access the Subscription slide out menu.
  •  Perform the following actions in Subscription slide out menu to configure your subscription.
Configuring Notify Me Section

Notify Me Once

Enable this option to send a single notification about a field change, and prevent additional notifications for any subsequent changes to the same field.

Notification Expiry Date

You can set an expiration date for your field subscription. After this date, you will no longer receive notifications about changes to the specified field. Choose a subscription expiration date from the date picker.

Send E-mail

Enabling this option to receive an e-mail notification whenever the subscribed fields are modified.

Notify My Changes

You will receive notifications for the changes you have made for the subscribed field.

Within this section, you'll find a comprehensive list containing all the fields displayed on the page. You have the flexibility to select or deselect any field from this list, enabling you to either subscribe to or remove your subscription for those particular fields.

Click Select All button to select all the fields in the fields list at once.

Click Select None button to deselect all the fields in the fields list at once.

Selecting a Field From the Fields List

You can manually select a field from the field list or add a field to your favorites list by using the following options:

You can access the Add to Favorites option within the 3 Dot Menu. By utilizing this option, you have the ability to include a field in your favorites list.

You can manage your subscriptions by enabling or disabling this option, allowing you to either subscribe to or remove your subscription from the selected field.

Status Bar

Note: If you find yourself on a page featuring a status bar and you desire to receive updates on its status changes, you'll need to request subscription capabilities from your system administrator. Once granted, you'll be enabled to subscribe to updates for this field.

Notify My Changes

You will receive notifications for the changes you have made for the subscribed field.
Manage Your Subscriptions

To manage your existing subscriptions, navigate to My Administration > Subscription Page via the Navigator Menu or using Breadcrumbs.

A : Delete
Delete Button

Remove all subscribed fields from an IFS Cloud page using this option. Upon pressing the Delete button, a prompt will appear for you to confirm your actions. Click the Delete button on the Delete Record prompt to unsubscribe from all the fields.

B : Edit Subscription

Click on this button to access the edit mode to modify all the subscriptions within a particular page. This action will open up the Subscription Slide Out menu where you can manage all the subscribing options as shown in Subscribe To A Field section.

C : Go to Subscribed Page
Go To Subscription

This button will redirect you to the subscribed page.

1 : Record Selector Menu

The Record Selector Menu display a comprehensive list of all pages you have subscribed to within IFS Cloud Web. Simply click on any tile in the Record Selector Menu or select a record from theRecord Selector Drop Down to access the respective Subscription Overview page.

2 : Subscription Section

The Subscription Section provides a summary of all the values you've chosen for fields such as Subscription Expiry Date, Notify My Changes, Notify Me Once, etc.

3 : Subscription Fields

The Subscription Fields Section provides a list of all the fields you have subscribed within a page.

a : Delete
Delete Button

Remove the subscription for the selected field using this option. Upon pressing the Delete(a) button, a prompt for deleting the record will appear. Click the Delete button on the Delete Record prompt to confirm your action and unsubscribe from the selected field.

b : Subscribe
Subscribe Button

If you wish to modify the properties of your current subscription only for a selected field, you can select this subscribe option which becomes available after you select the field. Click the Subscribe button to access the Field Subscription Slide Out menu.

You can modify the options in Field Subscription Slide Out Menu as described in the Subscribe to a Field section above.

Note: The Subscription button will not be available for unsupported records. IFS Cloud identifies unsupported records by checking if any columns are named "KEY_REF=" within the record.
