Define New Request Contract

Explanation

Use this activity to create a new Request Contract.

A new Request Contract requires at least a Customer, a Contract Name and a Service Organization. It is also possible to define a Contract Type, a Contract Manager and a Coordinator. By default, the Valid From will default to the creation date, and the Expiry Date will be left blank, but both are possible to change.

A Contract serves as an agreement between a Customer and a Service Provider.

Prerequisites

• Contract Type should be defined in Contract Type page.
• Coordinator should be defined in Coordinators page.
• Customer should be defined in Customer page.
• Contract Manager should be defined in Person page.
• Currency code should be defined in Currency Codes page.
• Service Organization should be defined with the required Sales site in Service Organization page.
• Sales site should be defined and connected to the user in the Site page.

System Effects

A new Request Contract will be created in status Planned.
