Use this activity to define Contract Types that will be used in Contracts. The Contract Type can be used to group contracts. Examples of such contract types could be Preventive Maintenance or Premium.
It is possible to define a Contract Type as a default, which means that every Request Contract created will have the Contract Type set by default, however it is possible to change it, both in the creation process and later on.
Each Contract Type can have an Order Type. The Order Type is used to control the Customer Order process used when invoicing. The Order Type defines which steps in the customer order process are performed automatically and which steps are performed manually. By default, Order Type Service Order (SEO) will be set, but is possible to change.
A new Contract Type will be created.
