Report Work Task Steps
Explanation
This activity is used to update information about execution of work task
step. It is possible to set the status of a work task step to Done if
the work has been concluded and set it to Cancel if it is unnecessary
or is a duplicate. Also it is possible reopen a work task step which has already
been concluded.
To support Task Step reporting it is possible to review Events registered
for the step using Step Events options.
Prerequisites
- A work task should have Work Task Steps connected.
- To cancel a work step, causes for canceling must be defined in
Work Task Basic Data > Cancel Cause page.
- If Cancel Cause Access is to be used, it has to be defined in
System Definitions/Object Property page.
- Object LU: CancelTaskCause
- Property Name: USE_CNCL_CAUSE_ACCSS should be set to TRUE
- If Cancel Cause Access functionality is used, the cancel cause access
can be defined in Work Task Basic Data/Cancel Cause
Access page.
- If the object property name (SAME_SIGN_OFF_USER) is set to TRUE,
the same person can perform both the inspector and executor sign offs. If
set to FALSE, the same person cannot sign off as both inspector
and executor within a sign off chain (defined by the same grouping number).
System Effects
As a result of this activity, work task step will be updated with statuses
Done, Cancelled or Not Done depending on the action performed
in Work Task Steps window.
