Technicians’ Late to Start Widget
This widget provides a real-time overview of resources that have not yet
logged into their shifts, enabling dispatchers to manage late logins with
customizable settings tailored to their needs.
Note: Technicians’ Late to Start widget can only be used
in conjunction with the Dispatch Console, and the data on the widget is
available only when data is loaded to the Dispatch Console.
Manage Late to Start Settings
You can customize the Late to Start widget according to your preferences.
You can use the following functions to customize.
- Select Dataset: The user’s default dataset is
automatically selected, but you can select any dataset to view resource
details relevant to that dataset.
- Delay Shift Start (min): Define the delay time
threshold from the shift start time to determine when technicians appear
in the widget. You can select a single input value in minutes from the
dropdown. The maximum value that can be entered is 240 minutes.
- Time to Next Task Threshold (min): Set the time
threshold to determine when tasks should be highlighted based on their
scheduled start time. For example, if the Time to Next Task
Threshold is set to 30 minutes, resources with a task scheduled
to start in less than 30 minutes will have their Time to Next
Task displayed in red, while others will appear in grey. The
maximum value that can be entered is 240 minutes.
- Customize Resource Details: Select which resource
details to display in the widget, such as No of Tasks for the Day, Shift
Start Time.
Note: Only one field can be selected to be displayed on the widget
main page.
- Task Card Display Configuration: Adjust the information shown in the
task cards within the widget.
Note: Only two fields can be selected
to be displayed in the Task Details section in addition to the Task ID
and Description.
- Quick Actions Setup: Choose which quick action
buttons are displayed on the Technicians’ Late to Start widget main
page.
Note: Only two actions can be selected to be displayed on the
widget main page.
Details on the Widget
- Technician: The Resource Name of the technician who
failed to log in to their shifts along with the contact widget of the
Resource.
- Time to Next Task: Displays the time left to
start each resource's next scheduled task. This column displays the time
remaining only for ongoing or upcoming tasks. If a task has already been
missed, it will not be displayed in the Late to Start widget. By
default, the widget sorts the tasks in ascending order based on 'Time to
Next Task.' Resources without a next task are listed last. You can only
navigate to the next page if you have an upcoming task in the schedule.
Widget Actions
- Unassign Task: You can unassign the resource’s next
immediate task by clicking the delete button.
- Send Notifications: The Notification button
allows you to send a quick reminder to resources to their
SERVICE_ENG_APP Application. When sending notifications, you can alter
the standard text using the Notification Text feature
on the Widget Settings page. The button to send another
notification will be enabled 10 min after the last notification.
- Resource View: The Resource View button allows you
to quickly navigate to the resource view on a timeline to see the work
scheduled for the day. This opens the Resource Gantt in a new tab,
providing a view-only mode with limited functionality.
- Unassign All: All the tasks assigned to the
selected resource for that specific day can be unassigned using the
Unassign All button.
- Quick Absence: Create a quick absence for a defined
period. The Absent Type defined in Widget Settings will be taken as the
default.
- Quick MRA: The MRA Category and the duration
defined in Widget settings are used as the defaults. If no MRA category
is defined, it will be created with “LATECHECKIN” MRA category for two
hours from the resource’s shift start time.
- Create Absence: Navigate to the Quick Absence page
in a new tab.
- Create MRA: Navigate to new Miscellaneous
Allocation Assistant in a new tab.
