This activity allows the technician to indicate that the part issued for the warranty-covered task is excluded from the warranty. The process ensures that accurate financial values are maintained on the sales line. For example, when the technician wants to perform an additional work through the same work task with additional material requirements, the technician should be able to exclude the warranty for that part. If more than one quantity is planned in the material order, the warranty condition set at the time of a part issue will apply to all subsequent issues, as well as to any parts already issued under the same material order.
