Define Appointment Base Date Time

Explanation

Use this activity to define the base date and time for applying delays and offsets when booking appointments. The user can either select the current day or a date and time of the week from which the base date time would be derived. This will also appear in the appointment booking client and the user can manually change the fetched date to a different one at that point.

If this field has not been specified, then the current schedule time will be used for the calculation of offsets and delays and the appointment request will not include the appointment base date time.

Prerequisites

An Appointment Template with slot usage rules needs to exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the appointment base date time field will be included in the appointment request.
