Copy Work Order

Explanation

This activity is used to make a copy of a work order. It is possible to select what entities that needs to be copied such as; Jobs and templates, permits, connections, work tasks and its connected entities etc connected to the work order. It is possible to define the Reported By, Earliest Start and Latest Finish dates that need to be in the copied work order.

If the Select All option is checked, it will copy all Jobs and Templates, Work tasks, Connections, Permits, Documents, Free Notes and Addresses connected to the work order.

The content copied to the new work order will differ depending on the options selected. Following are some of the scenarios:

Note : It is possible to select the entities with in the work task, that need to be copied to the new work order by selecting the options with in the Work Tasks group box.
When the Requisitions checkbox within the work task is selected, all purchase requisitions EXCEPT the inventory part purchase requisition lines ( i.e. Purchase requisitions connected to material requisition lines) and the one used for work order tender (can only be one per work task), is copied. Also any material line created from the work order tender requisition is not copied either.

Material requisition lines will be copied under a single Material order per work task. Different material orders will be created if the Req.Site and/or Internal Destination ID is different.
Purchase requisition lines will be copied under a single Purchase requisition header per work task. Different purchase requisition headers will be created if the Site and/or Order Code is different.

Source ID will be updated in the copied work order stating where it was originated from.
