A Pick List contains detailed information on inventory parts (such as name, quantity and date required, and inventory location), to be picked from the inventory. Pick Lists can be created for a single material requisition, a single work order (Multiple Material Requisitions) or for multiple work orders. A Pick List must be released before it can be printed or used for picking. A printout of the pick list can be used when manually retrieving parts from the inventory. When picking items from the inventory, all or some of the items can be picked.
Note: When viewing Pick Lists, a limitation is identified, approximately 900 Pick List source references (Maintenance Material Requisitions) with a Maintenance Material Requisition ID sequence of 6 digits can be viewed. If the length of the Source Ref sequence exceeds this amount, it becomes impossible to view Pick Lists. This number may vary depending on the number of sequence digits and the number of source references to be viewed.
