Using Address Fields

Addresses are treated as unique data inputs In IFS Cloud, and it can be used by various applications as unique identifiers.

Address Field Types

Address fields typically have different sections. The operations you are allowed to perform in these sections may vary based on your privileges within the system.









Add New Address

Add New Icon

To add a new entry to the address field, click on the icon. After initiating this action, follow the steps below to input a new address.

A.

Add New Address
  • Add a name to the Name(1) Field.
  • Click the Edit button(3) in Address field(2) to access Address(4) slide out menu.
  • Fill out all the applicable fields in the Address(4) slide out menu and click OK(5) to proceed.
  • Click Save button(6) to save the address or Cancel New button(7) to cancel your current process.

Edit

Click on the Edit button if you wish to modify any of the entries within the page.

Edit Address
  • You can modify all the fields once you click on the edit button.
  • If you wish to cancel the editing process click on Cancel Edit button (1).

Delete

Delete Icon

Click on the delete button if you wish to remove any of the entries within the page.

C.

Deleting an Address
  • You will receive a message box to confirm your action, click the Delete (1) button to confirm or click the Cancel (2) button to cancel the process.

Task

Task Icon

Click on the task button if you wish to create a task for your self or assign a task to another individual.

Create Task
  • Follow the instructions on Tasks section for additional information on creating a task.

Record Selector

Click this button to access the record selector menu, which allows you to easily navigate amongst records.

Address Group Section

This section consists of all the information related to the primary address record you have created.

Main Address Section
  • Name (1) section shows the tenant of the primary address group.
  • Address (2) Section shows the address you have entered for the record.
  • You can click on Open Map (3) button to view the location of the address in Google maps.
  • To edit the primary address click on the Edit (4) button to access Address slide out menu to modify.

Referenced Address Section

This section can be used to link a secondary address with the primary address.

Reference Address
  • Select any name from the Linked Address Ref (1) drop down menu to link it with the primary address.
  • Address (2) section shows the address affiliated with the secondary contact.
  • You can click on Open Map (3) button to view the location of the secondary address in Google maps.

All Address Section

This is another type of address input field which provides a holistic view of all the addresses you have in a page.

H.

All Address Section
  • You can perform all the operations such as Add New Address (1), Modify(2) or Delete(3) addresses using the controls on command menu.
