Daily Project Time Reporting Widget

Explanation

This activity is a quick and an easy method to project time reporting. Time can be reported for a day using the Daily Project Time Reporting widget at the IFS Home (The start page of IFS Cloud).

The Widget

The Daily Project Time Reporting widget allows users to report Project Time for a selected date using their Time Reporting Shortcuts and most recently reported reporting codes. It Indicates the progress of the logged in users time reporting for a given date and highlights if any remaining project time to be reported.

Reporting Project Time

Following fields will be useful when reporting time using the widget.

Account Date
The account date to report time is typically listed at the top left corner of the widget. (This may slightly change based on your screen resolution). The solution will by default have todays date selected (The system date) and it is possible to change the account date using the left and right carets (arrows).

Project Activity Codes
The widget will list all the shortcuts the logged in user has saved at Time Registration and the most recently reported time report codes.

Hours Reported
If any hours are already reported for the selected date, the widget will display this information.

Enter Your Hours
Use this field to report the number of hours worked against each time report code or shortcut listed.

Once the number of hours is entered against each time report code, the Report time button is enabled for the user to submit.

The Progress Bar

When hours are reported against each project activity code, with every hour entered, the progress will be displayed in blue color (the same color used in the My Time Registration Page).
Any Hours reported beyond the planned hours will be displayed in yellow.
The remaining hour that needs to be reported for the day will be displayed in a grey color (the same color used in the My Time Registration page when there are hours left to be reported). Addition to this a text indicating the number of hours remaining will be displayed on top of the progress bar.
