Create Snapshot of Sustainability Plan

Explanation

The Create Snapshot activity is used to calculate the measurements of automated KPIs and create a copy of the complete sustainability plan, including selected plan details, KPIs (with linked KPIs and entities), manually entered measurements, and qualitative comments. This activity can also serve as a pre-activity to view data.

Snapshots can be scheduled for multiple plans from the Schedule Snapshots page as well.

In scenarios where the user does not have access to the complete plan (e.g., a Data Provider or Authorizer wanting to check the measurement with the current available data or verify data accuracy), a preview-only snapshot can be created. Preview-only snapshots cannot be processed further and are solely for preview purposes.

Prerequisites

• The user must have “Full Access” to the plan.
• The plan status must be "Active" or "Completed".
• Workload job related to ESG Snapshot Workload should be properly configured.

For Preview-Only Snapshot: ·      

• The user must have “Full Access” to the plan or be a Data Provider/Authorizer of the KPI.·      
• The plan status must be "Active" or "Completed".
• Workload job related to ESG Snapshot Workload should be properly configured.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• A new snapshot is created with "Preliminary" status, copying selected sustainability plan details, KPIs (including linked KPIs and entities), and manually entered measurements and qualitative comments.
• If there are Automated KPIs, the measurements are calculated.

Note: If a preview-only snapshot is created, only the KPIs accessible to the user will be copied.
