Create New Sustainability Plan with KPIs
Explanation
The Create Sustainability Plan activity is used to generate a new
sustainability plan for a selected entity and period. The plan can be
created for either a company or an entity structure. The date period can be
selected using the accounting period of the selected company or the master
company of the selected entity structure. If an accounting period is not
chosen, a custom date period can be set up. Additionally, KPIs can be added
under the categories of Environment, Social, Governance, and General.
Individual KPIs can be added manually or a KPI Package can be added with a
pre-defined set of KPIs.
Prerequisites
- KPIs: KPIs must be created as a Main KPI in the KPI Catalog and
activated
- Relevant Single Measurement and Multi Measurements Main KPIs
including Linked KPIs should have revisions and valid for current date
when those are Quantitative KPIs and KPIs.
- Plan for a Company: The company must be defined, and the user must
be associated with the company.
- Plan for an Entity Structure: The entity structure must be defined
and in status “Active”.
- Plan for an Accounting Period: The accounting period must be
defined.
System Effects
- As a result of this activity:
- A sustainability plan is created with the selected KPIs, and linked
KPIs are automatically added.
- If an entity structure is included, and the option to apply the
entity structure to individual KPIs is selected, the entity structure
will be added to those KPIs. The applicability of entities for each KPI
can be specified using the Dimensions tab.
- For the Main KPIs and Linked KPIs the valid revision will be fetched
automatically to the current date.
- The plan is created with a status of “Preliminary,” and the KPIs are
set to “Data Pending” status.
- The logged-in user is added as a “Full Access” user for the
sustainability plan and set as the Owner.
