Get External KPI Values

Explanation

Use this activity to get KPI values for KPIs with the Input Value Source set as External.This activity is intended for a user acting as a Supplier Relationship Manger/Procurement Manager or a similar role.

Users can use the Get KPIs from External Sources toggle in Supplier Performance Evaluation Setup page or Create Evaluation Setup from Template page to trigger this action when the setup is approved. Alternatively this can be performed in the Supplier Performance Evaluation page. All externally sourced KPI values will be collectively filled with the values taken from the external source. Users also can override the values while providing a reason to override when needed.

At least one toggle out of two toggles; Trigger updates from the External Integration and Trigger updates from Supplier B2B should be selected to enable the update process.

Prerequisites

• Supplier performance evaluation should be in preliminary state.
• There should be at least one KPI with the source set as External.
• The external integration with the third-party soruce must be setup as per the guidelines stated in the technical documentation. The basic data set up in the Supplier Evaluation Parameters from External Sources page must be configured to work with the intended third-party.
•  An External Term ID must be assigned to the KPI.
• Supplier ID at External Source must be manually inserted in the Supplier's SRM Info page. Users can view this attribute when a supplier is connected in the Supplier Performance Evaluation Setup page as well as on the Supplier Perfromance Evaluation page for a connected supplier.

System Effects

As the result of this activity, KPI values will be updated with the respective information collected from the external source and the Value Received field will be set to Yes. These values will be used when results are generated.
