Define Crew Demands

Explanation

This activity is used to define crew resources required to perform a specific task on the Request Work Task/Resources tab Demands section. One or more skill demands can be stated on a task. You can define a Crew Demand Type by defining only the Crew Group and later assign a suitable Resource for it. If there is a definite Resource needed to perform the work, it can be defined along with the Crew Group.

A Sales part site and Sales part can be added on the demand line if the price needs to be invoiced to the customer.

Prerequisites

• Crews and Crew Groups need to be defined and connected to each other in the Resource Navigator and have connections for the work task site.
• Crews and Crew Groups should be compatible to use in Service.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, demand lines with Demand Type Crew will be connected to the Request Work Task.
