This activity is used to create an outlook meeting from a business activity. Click Sync to Outlook on the Business Activity page. When the Sync Status is changed to Synced, the meeting is added to the calendar. Click Open Outlook Meeting to view the meeting in Outlook web. If contacts and representatives were entered for the business activity, these are added as the required attendees of the appointment. Add any additional update required to the appointment and send the meeting invitation.
It would be convenient if the meeting appointment is created immediately, without waiting until the sync cycle completes. To enable that option, CRM/SRM Default Values page has a setting called "Create and Open Outlook Appointment immediately without using sync", which is required to be set as TRUE. Then, clicking on Sync to Outlook command creates the meeting appointment in draft mode and opens it in Outlook web.
As a result of this activity, an outlook meeting is created and linked to the business activity. Changes in Outlook will be synchronized to IFS Cloud.
