Report Arrival of Repair RMA
Explanation
To report a Repair RMA (RMA Line) as arrived, the following options are available:
- Receive: This is used to register the arrival of an
RMA Line which is entered for non-tracked parts.
- Receive with Serials/Lots: This is used to register
the arrival of Repair RMA Units with Serial/Lot tracked parts.
Prerequisites
- The status of the Repair RMA Line should be New, In Progress or On Hold.
- The Repair RMA Line has not been completely received.
System Effects
This action will have the following results:
- If the Repair RMA Line is defined as "non usable” the quantity
from the Repair RMA Line will be set as Quantity to Inspect in the
Register Arrival page.
- If you have chosen to place the received parts in an arrival location
the Receipt will remain in status To be Received or
To be Inspected, depending on the receive case and Qty
to Inspect.
- If you have received a partial quantity the status of the Receipt is
either To Be Received or To be Inspected,
depending on the receive case and Qty to Inspect. The Receive Status on
the Repair RMA Line will remain as Not Completed.
- When the total quantity is reported as received into stock, the status
of the Receipt will be in status Received. The Receive
Status on the Repair RMA Line will be Completed and the
Received Qty is equal to the Repair RMA line quantity.
