Communicate Receiving Advice
Explanation
Use this activity to print and/or send receiving advice messages to the supplier.
Although a default supplier address is displayed, you can change this using
the List of Values. The supplier address is the address to which the printed
receiving advice report will be sent.
Prerequisites
- The receiving advice header must have been entered with at least one
receipt line connected to the receiving advice header. The receiving advice
must not be in status Cancelled.
- To be able to send a receiving advice message, the RECADV message class
must have been added to the suppliers message setup.
System Effects
- The receiving advice will be printed, and the Printed option
on the Receiving Advice
page will become selected.
- The receiving advice message will be sent to the supplier, and the
Receiving Advice Sent option will become selected.
- Once the report is printed and/or the message is sent, the status of
the receiving advice will be set to Communicated.
- With the time zone improvement, a badge is introduced for all the
date/time attributes, and it is displayed in supply site’s time zone.
When creating an incoming receiving advice from a third-party tool, the
date/time attributes are displayed in supply site’s time zone with the
respective badge.
