This activity involves the final handover of project deliverables to the customer. Acceptance tests could be conducted with the customer to ensure that the deliverables meet expectations, the external acceptance criteria, and relevant industry standards. The aim is to ensure that the appropriate deliverables have been produced and meet the required quality standards.
Based on the feedback and results of acceptance testing, final adjustments may be required. The outcome of this activity depends on whether the customer accepts or rejects the project deliverables. If the deliverables are accepted, the project can move towards closure. If the customer does not accept the deliverables, certain aspects of the project may need to be adjusted or re-planned to align with the customer’s expectations, contracts or agreements.
This is a manual activity and affects nothing in the system.
The project deliverables must be completed and internally approved for hand over to the customer.
