Execute Create/Update Contract Change Order
Explanation
When a Schedule of Work Change Order is created with a connected Sales
Contract Change Order or Project Contract Change Order, this activity can be
used to automatically create or update contract change order forecast items
based on Schedule of Work Change Order Items.
When a Schedule of Work Change Order Item is defined with Destination Sub
Contract No, Sub Contract Change Order No, Sub Contract Change Order Name,
and Destination Sub Contract Change Type, this activity will automatically
create the Sub Contract Change Order and add it as Related Sub Orders to the
connected Sales Contract Change Order in the Schedule of Work Change Order
header.
This activity is applicable only when the Schedule of Work Change Order
is created with a connected:
- Project Contract Change Order, or:
- Sales Contract Change Order with the Contract Change Order Change
Capturing Level of all sales contracts and/or subcontracts defined
as Cost or Revenue Element. .
Prerequisites
- Schedule of Work Change Order should be created connected to
Contract Change Order.
- Schedule of Work Change Order should be in Approved status.
- Calculate Value should be performed.
System Effects
- Contract Change Order Forecast Items will be automatically created
or updated in the selected Contract Change Order based on the items in
the Schedule of Work Change Order.
- New Sub Contract Change Orders will be created automatically with
forecast items based on the Sub Contract Change Order information
specified in the Schedule of Work Change Order Items.
- Each Sub Contract Change Order created will be connected as a
Related Sub Order under the Sales Contract Change Order specified in the
Schedule of Work Change Order header.
