Execute Calculate Value at Change Order

Explanation

Use this activity to calculate the change in cost and revenue values based on your Schedule of Work Change Order.

When it is necessary to perform Calculate Value, it will be indicated under Pending Actions. Once the Calculate Value is performed, it is possible to analyze the Previous Cost, Current Cost, and Change in Cost values per Cost/Revenue Element, Sub Project, and Activity combination in the Change Order Summary page.

If the Contract Change Order Change Capturing Level of the sales contract or sub contract connected to your SOW Change Order is defined as Cost or Revenue Element, the user will not be allowed to perform the Create/Update Contract Change Order command until the Calculate Value is performed.

Prerequisites

• Schedule of Work Change Order Items should be created/updated.
• Schedule of Work Validate is performed without any errors.
• Relevant Cost Types enabled in the Schedule of Work Cost Types page.
• Cost Element – Cost Type Mapping is defined for enabled Cost Types.

System Effects

The Change Order Summary command will be enabled.
