Use this activity to enter estimated costs, revenues or hours for the activity. Estimated values represent the approximate values of cost, revenue or hours before the planning of the activity is carried out. Estimates are manually entered for cost/revenue elements in Activity Scope and Schedule/Estimates tab.
It is possible to retrieve planned costs from the estimates by updating the Planned Cost Driver on the activity to Estimated Cost. Then, the planned costs and hours of the activity are retrieved only from the activity estimates.
