Enable Schedule of Work Cost Types

Explanation

This activity is used to define user-defined cost types, which can then be used to group cost elements and allow you to view cost distribution per cost type.

It is possible to enable and define ten different cost types. These could, for example, be: Materials, Labour, Sub Contractors, etc. Once enabled, they can be mapped to different cost elements.

As a result of this activity:

• Enabled Cost Types can be connected to the Cost Elements available in your company using the Cost Element - Cost Type Mapping page.
• The total cost distribution for each enabled Cost Type will be visualized in the Schedule Of Work Value Summary page based on your Cost Element - Cost Type Mapping.
