About Project Emissions

Introduction

Managing CO2 emissions is crucial for sustainable project development. By accurately calculating and tracking emissions at various levels, projects can minimize their environmental impact and contribute to global efforts to reduce carbon footprints.

The CO2 or CO2 equivalent emissions for a project can be calculated by combining the CO2 emissions from project inventory parts (using data registered on the Part Eco-footprint page) and manually added CO2 emissions. These manual inputs can be made at various levels, including miscellaneous demand connections, activities, sub-Projects, and projects.

The entered values can be viewed at any level of the project, making it easy to analyze the footprint for the whole project or specific sub-projects or activities.
