This activity is used to connect tool groups to a selected DOP operation.
To connect tool groups to a selected operation first open the DOP Operations Tools page by clicking Tools on the Operations tab on the DOP Order page. Add a tool group by clicking the New command on the DOP Operations Tools page and specify the tool group ID. Update the Tool Quantity and Note Text fields, if necessary. This can also be done from the DOP Header page when expanding the tree structure in order to display the DOP order.
An operation must be defined for the DOP order. The DOP order must not be in status Closed or Cancelled.
As a result of this activity, the system connects tool groups to a DOP operation. New shop orders created from this DOP order will inherit the tool group connection, however existing shop orders will not be updated.
