This activity is used to perform several analyses in order to identify which parts are suitable to set as buffered parts. Following attributes can be further evaluated which helps prior to setting a part as a buffered part:
Use the Component Summarized Where Used page to identify which parts are suitable to set as buffered parts. Total where used quantities in the structure and number of connections is also available as information.
A full site Part cost calculation needs to have been performed and copied to cost set 1.
When copying to cost set 1 the Include Configurable Parts
toggle needs to be enabled, also if configurable parts are not used.
