Select Jobs Setup Configuration Type
Explanation
This activity is used to select the method or the usage of jobs to be used across the application through the
Job Setup Configuration requirement types.
There are two configuration options that you can select from;
- Company Dependent Jobs
- Global Jobs
When either is selected the way in which job information will be fetched and stored across the application can
vary.
Company Dependent Jobs
- Company Dependent Jobs, job defined and assigned under a specific company.
- When this option is selected, jobs assigned under a company will be fetched and visible in all areas in the
solution where a Job data is used.
Global Jobs
- Global Jobs, Jobs that are centrally defined and managed at a global level, meaning
they are not restricted to any specific company.
- When selected, Global Jobs will be fetched and visible at places in the solution where a
Job data is used.

There are no prerequisites for this activity.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the job usage across the solution will be configured and used as per
requirement.
