Schedule Scenario
Explanation
Use this activity to simulate the scheduling scenario with MSO.
The scheduling scenario is created and optimized based on:
- Shop order scheduling data such as Need date, Earliest start date, Lot
size, scheduling direction and other constraints defined in routing. But
the capacity and availability of the constraints will be considered based
on the added/modified/deleted constraints and/or resources in the scheduling
scenario.
- Scheduling scenario settings such as Site scheduling optimization parameters
like, setup matrices , Scheduling Rules and Scheduling Goals given on
Finite Scheduling Basic Data page. It is possible
to Scheduling Quality and Maximum Process Time for the scheduling scenario
on Scheduling Scenario page.
- Project activity dates, and Order structures including DOP and Shop
order statuses like Released, Started, etc...
Prerequisites
- Finite scheduling basic data should be created for the site.
- The site should be connected and the PSO server connected to the site
should be running (Check server availability).
- Scheduling Scenario must be created and activated.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, a finitely scheduled scheduling scenario is
created and saved back to the Database. The order of execution ( schedule start
and finish times) will be set. Comparison between finite schedule and scheduling
scenarios can be viewed on the Scheduling Scenario Analysis
page.
