Cancel Co-Product Scrap

Explanation

This activity is used to reverse the scrapping of a co-product when identifying that the co-product was improperly scrapped on the shop order.

To cancel co-product scrap from:

Shop Order Operations Reporting/Internal Operations: Select an operation and click Cancel Co-Product Scrap.
Shop Floor Workbench/Dispatch List/Co-Products: Expand the operation, select the co-product to cancel scrap from the Co-Products tab and click Cancel Scrap.

In the assistant, enable the Cancel option for the scrap reports that should be reversed.

Co-product scrap must have been reported.

As a result of this activity:

The scrapped quantity on the co-product line will be decreased. If the reported scrap exceeded the planned scrap given the defined scrap factor, the supply quantity for the line will be increased.
A shop order material history transaction will be created, and the Reversed Scrapped Quantity field is updated on the original scrap transaction.
An UNOPFDSCP inventory transaction will be created.
If the original scrap transaction was recorded against a serial number, this serial number will be re-reserved to the shop order. The record for this serial number on the Part Serial page will be deleted.
If the original scrap transaction was recorded against a lot/batch number, the reversal of the scrapping will be recorded on the Part Lot Batch page.
