Approve Maintenance Change Request Actions

Explanation

Approving a Maintenance Change Request signifies that the responsible person overseeing the request has gathered information from those accountable for the affected maintenance actions, ensuring all related maintenance actions can be properly managed.

To manage the approval process, navigate to the Approval Process tab under the Attachment panel. To create a new approval step, click New Approval Step, which opens the New Approval Route assistant page. Fill in the required information and click OK. Once the relevant approval step is selected, commands to Approve Step or Reject Step will appear.

Alternatively, to copy an approval template, click Copy Approval Template, which opens the Select Approval Template to Copy assistant page. Select the desired template from the drop-down list, and all associated steps will automatically appear under the Approval Process tab.
