Freeze Stock on Count Report
Explanation
Use this function to manually freeze stock for all count report lines. This
command is only available on the count report header when the stock is unfrozen.
Note: If several reports want to manually Freeze Stock at once then the
Count Reports page can use.
Prerequisites
- A count report must have been created and currently be unfrozen.
System Effects
- The stock records get frozen for that count report.
- If the count report is created without freezing, the On Hand
Qty will not be fetched from the stock record into the count report
line. However, when a user manually freezes the count report, the
On Hand Qty will be fetched and saved as a snapshot value
from the stock record into the count report line.
- If the user freezes the count report again without
reporting any Counted Qty, a new snapshot value will be taken from
the stock record and updated in the count report line.
- If the user freezes the count report again after reporting
any Counted Qty, the system raises a warning message stating that
the Counted Qty information will be nullified on the count report
line. At the same time, the system takes a new snapshot from the stock record.
- The manually freezing command on the Count report
is available if lines are unfrozen but if lines are frozen already, then
the freeze command will not available.
- If the lines are confirmed, they will not be affected
by this manual command.
- If the lines are confirmed and rejected then the site
setup (Freeze Stock on Reject Count Result toggle) will determine if the
count result lines are frozen or unfrozen.
