Configure Custom Assistants

Explanation

Use this activity to configure simple Assistants from scratch, connected to either a baseline entity or a custom entity to streamline data capture. Multiple steps can be easily defined to guide the user with data entry, and custom screens can be provided for the Cancel and Finish actions if needed.

Prerequisites

• An Entity must be available to store the final result of the Assistant.
• User must understand the data model of the Entity (e.g.: keys, mandatory fields and other data constraints) to be able to model required fields and validations, so that the record can be saved.
• Permissions must be available to do page configurations using Page Designer.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a new Assistant is created, which can be used to create a new record, particularly with custom entities in a guided, step-by-step manner.
