Update Location Tracking

Explanation

Use this activity to update the precision of GPS capturing for the mobile app. You can configure this by changing the parameter LOCATION_TRACKING_MODE on the Application Parameters page.

When LOCATION_TRACKING_MODE is set to:

• COARSE: Location tracking is turned on.
• FINE: Location tracking is turned on with higher precision than COARSE.

System Effects

As a result of this activity,

• If COARSE: the location tracking is not as precise as FINE for the mobile app user.
• If FINE, the location tracking is more granular than COARSE for the mobile app user.
