Test Initialization

Use this activity to perform a test initialization on a dummy device. You can access this option from the command Test Initialization on the Apps/Devices page.

Note:

• The dummy device will not be included in the batch sync process. This test is for evaluating the performance of the initialization request for a single user.
• Best practice to remove dummy devices using the Delete App/Device command once you have analyzed the test results.

Prerequisites

• Push synchronization must be enabled. .

System Effects

As a result of this activity,

• A dummy user is created.
• Initialization is performed.
• The result is written to the following pages: Logs, Synchronized Entities, and Synchronization Traces (if enabled).
