Enter Recived ScandIT Registration Key

Explanation

Use this activity to enter the Scandit barcode registration key for each platform—Android, iOS, or Windows. 

Add the registration key for each platform on the Application Parameters page under the following parameters for each mobile app:

• SCANDIT_APP_KEY_ANDROID
• SCANDIT_APP_KEY_IOS
• SCANDIT_APP_KEY_ WINDOWS

This setting determines whether barcode scanning is available for text data fields in the app.

Prerequisites

• A registration key from the third-party vendor Scandit must be obtained.

System Effects

As a result of this activity,

• The Scandit bar code reader must be activated and available for use before scanning bar codes.
