A part can be connected to a model which will allow users to view Service History and Connected Objects from the part point of view. The serialization of the model and part should match in order for the connection to be established. The established part-model connection cannot be changed or removed when there are objects attached to the part.
As a result of this action, the Part and Model will be associated and when a Service Object is created for the Model, only the connected parts will be possible to select.
