This activity is used to define the set of spare parts (Spares) that are recommended for a model. Already added spares can be removed. It is important to note that if a spare is removed, the change will affect all items in the hierarchy, meaning that associated object will be updated as well.
The manufacturer defines a set of recommended spare material/parts that will be needed for the model along with required quantities. If any of the spare parts defined by the manufacturer which is not included in the inventory, they can be added to the spares list with the "No Part Description" field.
The parts to be added as spares of the model should exist in the Part page.
As a result of this action a list of recommended spares are attached to the model to be referred for information purposes.
