Hangar maintenance technicians can review non-historic skill requirements of tasks only to assign themselves while crew leads and supervisors can review skill requirements of tasks to assign them either to themselves or to other resources based on their availability.
A task requires skills (e.g., MECH) and the assignment role as Executor together with multiple other skill requirements for the Inspector and Certifier assignment roles. The Assignment Status of a skill requirement can be Assigned, In Work, and Completed.
Note: If scheduled hours are not defined for a skill requirement, automatic scheduling via IFS Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO) is not available. To utilize PSO’s scheduling capabilities, scheduled hours must be set for task definitions in CAMO.
As a Hangar maintenance crew lead or supervisor, follow the steps below to review skill requirements of a task.
Note: If you do not have shifts set up, you do not view anything when you select the 3 options of the Shift filter. Also, if you do not select any options in the Shift filter, you view skill requirements of all non-historical tasks, which have been published. Supported shift types are either the HR schedule or work time calendar.
