Enter Delivery Control Code

Explanation

Available Delivery Control Codes are set in Procurement/Procurement Basic Data/Purchase Delivery Codes, where also related validity period is set. Valid codes can be used in several pages.
Only codes valid for the system date when entering the code will be shown in the List of Values. If not setting a date, the validity period will be from start to the end of the calendar.

The Delivery Control Code can be used to prioritize your Purchase Orders, for example a high priority delivery control code can be used for important orders. Also for the arrivals and receipts the code can be used.

The field can also be used to store the Turkish DIIB number. It is the inward processing permit certificate needed to postpone or fully exempt taxes at time of import. Then the validity period is set to correspond to the validity for the DIIB.
