Finish Assignment
Explanation
You can select a skill assignment and then select Finish
to finish working on the assignment.
If the assignment you are finishing is the last assignment in the
Work Started status and all other skill requirements are either
unassigned or completed, you can also complete the task.
Prerequisites
- The skill requirement should be assigned to you.
- To complete the task while finishing the assignment, ensure
there are no other assignments in the Work Started
status.
System Effects
- The status of the skill assignment changes to
Completed.
- If you complete the task while finishing the assignment, the
status of assignments in the Assigned status changes to
Cancelled.
- If you finish the assignment without starting or recording
work, Scheduled Hours are given as Actual Hours
when recording action.
Procedure
- Select the assignment.
- Select Finish, select Record Action,
and enter the Action Taken.
- If needed, update the automatically calculated actual hours.
- Actual hours value is the difference between the start
time and the end time. If you adjust the start time and end time,
actual hours are recalculated.
- Select Save.
- If you are using the digital signature service, select
Sign, and proceed with the digital signing process. If you are
not using the digital signature service, select Finish.
