Fault Search

Explanation

The Fault Search page allows you to search for and view information about previously raised faults, enabling faster issue resolution and decision making.

For example, using the Fault Search page:

• A technician can search for historical faults similar to the one they are working on and review the measures taken previously to resolve those faults.
• A technician can recognize recurring faults, which can lead to the discovery of broader issues within a fleet.
• A maintenance operations controller can identify related faults or conflicting faults that may potentially impact the aircraft's airworthiness, before deferring a fault.

When accessed from the Technician Lobby or the Maintenance Operations Controller Lobby, the Fault Search page displays faults relevant to all aircraft.

When accessed from the following pages, the Fault Search page filters faults by the relevant aircraft.

• Task Details page
• Faults To Be Deferred page

On the mobile application, you must be online to search for faults. When initiated from the mobile app, your iPad device launches the Fault Search page in the default browser.
