Open Main Contact List

Explanation

Use this activity to find the resources included in the contact list, accessible from the main menu of the mobile application.

The application parameter CONTACT_LIST_TYPE determines whether the contact list is derived based on the user's connected Service Organization, Site, or Company. This setting is specific to the IFS MWO Service app.

• SERVICE_ORGANIZATION (default value): Displays resources connected to the logged-on user's owning service organization, as defined in Resource Details > Connections.
• SITE: Displays resources connected to the logged-on user's primary site, as defined in Resource Details > Maintenance/Service > Site Settings.
• COMPANY: Displays resources connected to the company where the logged-on user is defined as a mobile user, as specified in Resource Details > Maintenance/Service > Company Settings.

IFS MWO Maintenance app consistently displays the resources connected to the logged-on user's primary site, as defined in Resource Details > Maintenance/Service > Site Settings.

Prerequisites

To appear in the contact list,

• The resource must be connected to a primary parent resource group.
• The resource must be defined as a Mobile User.

System Effects

• The mobile user can contact the required resource using an appropriate communication method, such as MS Teams, Phone, or Email.
