Release Permit

Explanation

This activity is used to release a permit so that it can be used during the execution of a work order. In order to do this, you have to prepare and approve the permit first.

If the permit is connected to an isolation order the establishment must have been completed before the permit can be released. An approved permit can be released by clicking on the status command and selecting the Release option.

Prerequisites

• The permit must have the PreparationApproved status.
• The connected isolation orders should be established, i.e., the status of the isolation order should be EstablishmentCompleted.
• The work leader for both the permit and work order should be the same.
• Any sign-off chain linked to the permit must be completed.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the permit receives the Released status and is valid for use during the execution of the work order.
