Approve Isolation

Explanation

Use this activity to approve the isolation.  An isolation states how a certain part of a facility should be shut down and started up again, so that the specified work can be carried out under safe conditions

Note: You cannot modify the details of an approved isolation, to do so you will have to remove the approval, make the modifications and approve it again. 

Prerequisites

• In order to approve an isolation, information on the isolation must have been entered in IFS/Equipment.
• Any sign-off chain linked to the isolation must be completed.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the isolation will be approved. An approved isolation can be used when a work clearance is created
