Cascade General Performance :- Activity Cascade General Performance

Cascading objectives allow a supervisor to distribute some of the objective/general performance targets that are assigned to the supervisor, to his/her respective subordinates. This functionality facilitates the organizational objectives to flow from the top all the way to the last node of the hierarchy. A supervisor can select an objective that is assigned for him/her and choose to cascade it to any employee the supervisor has access to.

Explanation

The Activity Revise and cascade general performance is performed to make generic changes to the cascaded general performance details before we cascade it to the subordinate employees.The Cascade general performance assistant can be initiated by selecting a general performance record at My performance Evaluation Details or Performance Evaluation Details and clicking the button “Cascade”

Example: - A supervisor is expected to focus on increasing/give high emphasis on his/her team capacity on delivering in accordance with two of the five company core values, Supervisor may have it as a generic assignment however, when cascading it the supervisor can personalize it to his/her team with specific actions.

Manage Employees Toggle
If the supervisor wishes to make changes to individual employees, the Manage Employees Toggle needs to be activated.

This will enable the “Next” button in the assistant which directs you to a step to manage employee general performances and perform employee wise changes to the cascaded general performance (Please note for the next button to be enabled you need to make sure you have selected your employees and Activated “Manage Employees” toggle)

Performing a cascade via Manager Services
The same set of activities mentioned above can be performed using manager services. In this case a user who has access to both the supervisor and the subordinate records will select an objective of the supervisor’s performance evaluation and perform the cascade.

Prerequisites

General Performance are created for supervisor employee.
