This activity is used to enable input sources that are used to generate AI-enhanced employee Objectives and Activities. By activating these sources, the system incorporates information from the employee’s Current Primary Job Assignment, Previous Objectives, and Cascaded Objectives into the AI as additional information. This ensures that the generated objectives are SMART objectives (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound), which improves their relevance and effectiveness and aligns them well with the employee’s specific role and requirements.
There are 3 types of Input Sources:
Current
Primary Job Assignment: Enable this option to consider the employee's
Current Primary Job Assignment at the time of adding objectives as a basis for
AI-enhanced Objective generation. This enables the AI to refine Objectives based
on the specifics of the employee's present role.
Previous Objectives:
Enable this option to use the employee's past Objectives as input sources. This
helps the AI to consider historical performance data (from the employee's most
recent performance evaluation) to enhance new Objectives.
Cascaded
Objectives: Enable this option to use Objectives that have been cascaded
(for the selected performance evaluation) from higher levels in the organization
to the employee. This ensures that AI-generated Objectives align with broader
organizational goals and expectations.
Note: If any
input sources are enabled, the Use Employee's Job, Previous, and Cascaded
Objectives to enhance Objective Descriptions with AI toggle will be
activated in the Add Objective/Activities with AI
Assistant.
In the AI Generated Activity Count section, specify the number of AI-generated Activities in the Activity Count field to generate Activities for the selected Objective in the Add Objective/Activities with AI Assistant.
For example, entering a count of 5 in the Activity Count field will prompt the system to generate up to 5 activities.
There are no prerequisites.
As a result of this activity, the employee's objectives will be enhanced with AI by considering the input sources in the Add Objective/Activities with AI Assistant.
