Create Talent Assessment
Talent assessments help organizations review their existing talent pool to ensure a balanced workforce and
identify potential opportunities and challenges. Conducting a Talent Assessment allows team managers to evaluate
team members, identify their assessment levels (e.g., High Potential, Key Contributor, Improvement Needed),
determine critical expertise, and assess flight risk.
This activity is used to create Talent Assesment.
Explanation
Team managers can perform this activity on the Talent Assessments page in the
Manager Services section. HR professionals can access the same page via the HCM
Services Navigation.
Steps to Create a Talent Assessment
- Visit the Talent Assessments Page.
- Click + Icon to create a new talent assessment.
- Enter the assessment period in the Assessment Period field or select one from the list of
values.
- In the Person list, enter or select the respective team member on whom you wish to perform a
talent assessment.
- Enter the company in the Company field or select one from the list of values. Note that this
is not a mandatory field, but it's required if you want to display additional details on this page such as
the performance summary or employment information.
- Save the Record.
Generate Assessments - Dialog
We recommend HR professionals carry out this activity.
- Visit the Talent Assessments Page.
- To generate assessments, click Generate Assessments. The Generate Assessments
dialog appears.
- Enter the assessment period in the Assessment Period field or select one from the list of
values.
- To run the creation process in the background, enable the Run in Background toggle.
- Company and Employee Selection
- Enter the company in the Company field or select one from the list of values.
- Enter the respective employee selection template in Employee Selection Template field or
select one from the list of values.
The employee selection template controls which employees will be included when generating talent assessments
for the selected company.
If a selected employee works at more than one company, the system will still create a talent assessment record,
but the company information will be left blank.
- Click OK to close the dialog.
- The system creates talent assessments for the selected assessment period.
