Assign Objectives

Explanation

This activity is used to create your own objectives. As the preliminary step you could set your objectives by yourself and then could reviewed by the manager.

Objectives can be created using My Performance Evaluations or My Performance Evaluation Details pages.

If you use My Performance Evaluations, you will need to select the performance evaluation in the valid performance period. To assign objectives, select the Add Objectives option which will guide you to a Add Objectives assistant.

If you use My Performance Evaluations Details, you will need to select the valid performance period first. To assign objectives, select the Add Objective/Activities option which will guide you to a Add Objective/Activities assistant

Specify a New Objective ID and a description for the objective in the Description field. Specify the target to achieve in the Target field. Objective Start Date and Objective End Date will show Performance period valid from and valid to dates by default. The Responsible For Follow Up field, indicates your own Person ID as you are responsible for the fulfillment of the objective. Additional Information section will allow you to enter possible obstacles and comments.

Note: By enabling the input sources on the Input Sources for AI Enhanced Objectives and Activities page, the specified objective description will be enhanced as SMART objective with AI by considering the input sources as additional information, including the mentioned objective target. In order to perform this task, AI services must be enabled in the application.
SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound, used to define clear and attainable objectives.

 

Prerequisites

To add objectives, Performance Evaluation is required to be already created by your Manager. Performance Periods and Performance Status have to be already defined.

System Effects

The newly added objectives will be displayed in Employee Objectives as well.
