Modify Employment Lifecycle Change Request
Explanation
This activity allows managers to modify the Employment Lifecycle Change Requests they have
created. Managers can make necessary adjustments or updates before submitting the request for approval.
When Can Modifications Be Made?
- Modifications are only possible when the Employment Lifecycle Change Request is in
Registered status.
- The manager can navigate to the Employment Lifecycle Change Request Details page,
select the specific request, and make changes in the General Information section.
Adding and Managing Persons in the Request
- In the Persons section of General Information, the manager can:
- Add new Persons they have access to.
- View existing information for a newly added Person under Current
Information (if available).
- Enter new details for the Person under New Information.
- Available Lifecycle Changes are listed based on the selected Lifecycle Change
Type in the request.
- The manager can also remove a Person from the request, which will delete all associated
information.
Modifying New Information for an Existing Person
- The manager can update the New Information for an existing Person in the
request.
- All validations applied in the New Employment Lifecycle Change Request assistant
will also apply when modifying details.
Submitting the Request for Approval
- Once modifications are complete, the manager can select Submit for Approval to initiate the
approval process.
- Upon submission:
- The Request Status changes to Ready for Approval.
- No further modifications are allowed.
Reverting a Request to Registered Status
- If further modifications are needed while the request is in Ready for Approval status, the
manager can select Revert to Registered.
- This action:
- Resets the Request Status to Registered.
- Clears the Status of all Persons associated with the request.
- Allows the manager to make the necessary modifications and resubmit the request.
- Once the approval process starts, modifications are no longer allowed.
Prerequisites
- Employment Lifecycle Change Requests: Must be created in the system.
- Persons: Must be registered in the system with associated Employment in
Companies.
- Teams: Must be registered in the system if the supervisor is assigned from the Team
and Supervisor Setup.
- Structure/Organization/Position: Must be registered in the
system if the supervisor is assigned from the Organization and Position Setup.
System Effects
This activity will result in the modification of an existing Employment Lifecycle Change
Request by the manager. Once the changes are made, the system will update the request, ensuring that the
modifications are accurately reflected.
