Font Substitution
Explanation
Font substitution is a feature in IFS Cloud that allows you to replace
fonts used in report layouts at runtime. This is particularly useful when
the original font is not available on the client system where the report is
being viewed or printed.
- Define Substitution: In the Report Substitution Fonts configuration,
you specify the original font (the one used in the layout design) and
the substitute font that should be used instead.
- Set Language: Choose the language in which the report will be
previewed or printed.
- Run Report: When the report is run in the specified language,
the substitute font will be used instead of the original font.
Prerequisites
- You should be a verified user within IFS Cloud, equipped with the necessary
permissions (FND_ADMIN) to access a specific report and its associated
data elements (projections).
- The selected report for print should be an operational report(Report
Designer Layout/Report Studio – Designer Layout).
